Golden State Warriors talk with Sean Carroll

Hello, hello, hello!

 

We had an absolute blast in this episode as we got to chat with Nugg Love site expert and one half of The Deep Two NBA podcast...Sean Carroll!! 

 

We start things off by asking Sean how he got into the NBA and writing about it. Then some good Australian, and Canadian, Men's National team talk. Sean tells us why/how he picked GSW as his NBA team to watch *disclaimer, he started watching them before the dynasty ;)*. He tells us if he thought GSW would be this good back in the offseason, gives us a breakdown of the roster construction, and who has surprised him. We discuss Klay Thompson's return, how he looks overall, if he can return to pre-injury Klay, and how he fits with this new roster. We then chat some Steph Curry and his recent struggles. And oh, look at this, some Andrew Wiggins talk, and if he can realistically make the all-star game. We then dive into the depth of this squad, who will be the 8-9 person rotation in the playoffs, and ask Sean: are the dubs finals bound? Plus, some GSW trivia to end things off!

NBA Look Back: Rockets and Lakers Clash in 2009 Playoffs Without the Duo

Wow...it's been a minute...

 

But we're BACK! Happy New Year to all!

 

In our first episode of 2022, we take on another NBA Look Back. This time we discuss a topic that is near and dear to Will's heart - the 2009 Western Conference semifinal playoff bout between the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers.

How Bout Them Rooks? ft. Cleveland

In today's episode, we take a peek at top draft pick Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons and his recent three-game span in which he faced Jalen Green (picked second by the Houston Rockets), Evan Mobley (selected third by the Cleveland Cavaliers), and Scottie Barnes (picked fourth by the Toronto Raptors).
